Colombo - April2011

Colombo is the largest city and former capital of Sri Lanka.
Unfortunately, April & May => raining season.
Since my first day here, everyday is a raining day with or without thunderstorms.

For the very first week,
settle down myself in Colombo 4, Bambalapitiya.
Near to food city.
:-)

Local speak Sinhalese and fluent English.

 This small little kitchen near to Colombo city hotel,
I have my lunch here most of the time, as it is near to the office...

 Every 100meters there will be Army Post.
Police and Army with SMG every 50meters.
Especially near to the city center.
The big brother is watching you!!

 World Trade Center (WTC)

ALU office located, East Tower - 23rd Floor.

Yups, WTC - just another Twin Tower buildings.
Well, these towers doesn't looks Jagung.

No Suria shopping center,  just a few Banks and Airlines office.
It is not crowded as KLCC.

Bank of Ceylon next to WTC buildings.

Motorised three-wheeled chariots are the backbone of Sri Lankan transport, it is all around Colombo city.

The tuktuk got speed, hang on for your life!
